Responsibilities
  • Design and architect Golang-based microservices using Gorilla Mux and gRPC frameworks.
  • Manage large-scale data operations with MongoDB, focusing on indexing, schema optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Take ownership of the full application lifecycle on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, S3).
  • Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Helm.
  • Implement comprehensive observability with OpenTelemetry, exporting metrics/logs to Datadog.
  • Lead and enhance CI/CD workflows using GitLab and GitHub Actions.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.
  • Mentor offshore developers, fostering best practices, quality, and code ownership.

Required Qualifications
  • 10–15+ years of backend software development, including 7+ years with Golang.
  • Extensive experience with MongoDB (NoSQL data modeling and optimization).
  • Strong background in AWS architecture and deployments.
  • Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
  • Expertise in CI/CD automation (GitLab, GitHub Actions).
  • Advanced Linux scripting and debugging skills.
  • Hands-on experience with TDD and code quality tools such as SonarQube.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of EV telematics and integrating with payment platforms like Stripe or Zuora.
  • Experience with modern payment systems (Apple Pay, Google Pay, cryptocurrency solutions).
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js.
